Intravenous Nutrient Therapy (IVNT) is a way to introduce nutrients and therapeutic agents directly into the bloodstream to correct deficiencies, enhance immune system function, increase energy, and assist in maintaining optimal health. The benefit of IV nutrient therapy over oral nutrition is that nutrients bypass the digestive system allowing them to be absorbed in high concentrations to optimally nourish the body’s cells and tissues. Many nutrients have poor absorption orally resulting in little or no absorption of nutrients and therapeutic supplements. IV nutrient therapy creates an environment of higher than normal levels of specific vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that have been shown in scientific literature to be effective in treatment of a wide variety of symptoms and conditions.
IV drips can take from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on IV treatment.
We recommend that all patients eat a meal within 1 hour prior to IV and are well hydrated.
Since safety is our main concern all new patients have to have an initial virtual visit with one of our providers + appropriate lab testing if recommended by physician.
Once you are a registered patient then simply give us a call to schedule your appointment.
IV drips are a mixture of IV nutrients that are combined in fluid (250-1000ml) and administered intravenously over 30 minutes to 2 hours. IV drips consist of larger dosing of nutrients than injections. Injections are a smaller dosing of specific vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that are injected intramuscularly. Injections take about 10 seconds to administer have equivalent absorption as IV drips.
